Mandy Moore off her postpartum body in ‘loose skin’ bikini selfie

Mandy Moore is giving her Instagram followers a glimpse at her latest swim day.

The 42-year-old actress took to Instagram Saturday to share a mirror selfie showing off her figure in a two-piece swimsuit from Left On Friday. The look featured high-waisted bottoms and a low-cut top, putting her midriff on full display.

Moore, who has been candid about the changes her body has experienced after becoming a mom of three, appeared to be getting ready for some time away.

“Swim day” and “packing for a little getaway,” she wrote across the bottom of the photo.

She also tagged the swimwear brand, giving her followers an easy way to find the bikini she was wearing.

The Actress Gets Candid About Her Body

The snapshot comes just weeks after Moore offered fans a much more vulnerable look at her postpartum body.

In an Instagram Stories video, the This Is Us alum stood in front of a mirror wearing a sports bra and leggings before gently pulling at the skin around her stomach.

Rather than hiding the physical changes that came with pregnancy, Moore openly acknowledged them.

“After 3 kids in 3 1/2 years, this is what my body is… Loose skin and all,” she wrote over the clip.

Her candid post offered a reminder that even celebrities experience lasting changes after pregnancy, despite the pressure to quickly return to their pre-baby bodies.

Moore Is Focused on Getting Stronger

Along with showing off her postpartum figure, Moore has also been documenting her efforts to become stronger.

The actress previously shared footage from a workout session with her personal trainer, admitting that exercise does not necessarily come naturally to her.

“I’m super awkward and not a natural athlete but I’m committed to getting stronger for the long run,” she wrote over the video.

Rather than framing fitness as a race to lose weight or change her appearance, Moore has emphasized building strength and staying committed for the long haul.

She Shares Three Kids With Taylor Goldsmith

Moore and her husband, musician Taylor Goldsmith, are parents to three children.

The couple welcomed sons Gus, 5, and Ozzie, 3, as well as daughter Lou, who turns 2 in September. With three young children at home, Moore has been open about the demands that come with raising a growing family.

The actress has previously described motherhood as both exhausting and incredibly rewarding.

In June, while appearing on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Moore reflected on having three children in less than four years and acknowledged the physical and emotional toll it took on her.

She admitted that she is “still emotionally recovering” from the experience.

Moore Says Pregnancy Was Relatively Easy for Her

Although Moore acknowledged the challenges that came with having three children so close together, she said she considers herself fortunate when it comes to her pregnancies.

“I do feel lucky that energetically, pregnancy was very easy for me,” she said.

The actress explained that she did not experience postpartum symptoms, which made her overall experience easier than it might have been for others.

“I didn’t suffer from any sort of postpartum symptoms and stuff, so I feel like I had a relatively easy journey, all things considered,” she added.

Still, Moore has made it clear that an “easy” pregnancy does not mean the transition into life with three young children was effortless.

‘It’s Also the Greatest Thing in the World’

In a September 2025 interview with People, Moore described raising her children as “a lot,” but was quick to emphasize how much joy they bring her.

“It’s also the greatest thing in the world,” she said.

The former pop star acknowledged that parenting three young children means there are constantly multiple things happening at once.

“There’s a lot of moving parts at all times, but it’s the best, obviously,” she explained.

Moore has also spoken about accepting the unpredictable nature of motherhood instead of trying to control every moment.

“You have to,” she said. “You just lean in, you surrender, you submit to it. It’s wild, but it’s the best ride ever.”
