Two weeks after its release throughout the western world, The Odyssey press run has finally commenced in Asia.

On August 4, Matt Damon headed over to Seoul, South Korea for the movie’s Seoul premiere at the CGV Yeongdeungpo, once again bringing his family along.

The actor, 55, wore a chocolate brown suit to contrast with his wife Luciana Barroso, who wore a stunning navy blue bodycon dress with a sweetheart neckline.

And joining them were the couple’s youngest two daughters, 17-year-old Gia and 15-year-old Stella. Gia wore a baby blue maxi dress with a lace trim, while Stella opted for a flowy white dress with spaghetti straps.

The two sisters looked just like their mom Luciana, down to the long brown locks, the facial features, and their light glam for the evening, with the family-of-four making heart shapes with their hands for photos as well.

Matt, who plays Odysseus in the epic, was joined for the premiere by the movie’s director Christopher Nolan, his wife and co-producer Emma Thomas, and Charlize Theron, who plays the nymph Calypso.

Speaking with People recently, the actor noted that he’s trying to enjoy more of these red carpet moments with his girls before he and Luciana become empty nesters, something he calls their “new phase in life.”

“Having two older kids who are out of the nest and knowing how fast these final years go, we’re trying to be mindful of holding onto what we can,” he shared with the publication.

Matt recently also told GQ that he considers The Odyssey the “last of its kind” when it comes to big budget epic filmmaking, and he especially considers it the last of such movies that he’ll be part of, especially in his mid 50s and with a family at home.

“I think about it a lot, especially as my kids are getting older: really trying to be here now. And it’s hard for me to do that,” he said. “And I think maybe that has to do with my own nature.”

“It also has to do with this career where you’re always trying to figure out what’s ahead because it’s such an uncertain business and a pretty ruthless one. Those kinds of things have conspired to, I think, maybe take me out of where I am, more than I’d like.”

Even without a release in China yet, the world’s second largest movie market, which doesn’t take place until August 14, The Odyssey has still become a global phenomenon and one of the year’s highest grossing movies.

As of writing, it has made over $900 million at the box office, and is poised to become the fifth movie this year to gross over $1 billion worldwide. It ruled the box office for its first two weeks, being dethroned in week three by the historic performance from Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The Odyssey has also received critical acclaim, holding a Rotten Tomatoes score of 94% as of writing, with Matt’s performance receiving praise, and other special praise reserved for Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Samantha Morton as Circe, and Robert Pattinson as Antinous.
