Meet Pharrell Williams’ athletic wife and their four kids including triplets

Helen is originally from Florida and she grew up being a dedicated volleyball player. During the Sun Conference in 2001, Helen was a member of the Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Team.

On top of that, she was also honored as the team’s Player of the Year during the competition. Helen is a huge traveler who has been to the United Arab Emirates, China, Brazil and more.

Believe it or not, Helen wasn’t interested in Pharrell when they first met, despite him being attracted to her immediately.

Pharrell recalled during an interview with Oprah Winfrey: “She just stood out. I was like, ‘Who and what is that?’ I knew at some point something was going to happen. I was just so enamored by the moment I was having with her. I just wanted to read that book. I didn’t care what was in it.”

But it was more complicated than disinterest, because Helen was in a relationship at the time.

He explained: “She didn’t answer half my text messages. She had a boyfriend and she wasn’t interested.”

The duo shared a passion for music and bonded over that. Pharrell revealed: “We love music. We’re both huge Tribe Called Quest fans. So that just cemented that every girl that I’ve had a serious relationship [with] loved Tribe and if they didn’t, it just didn’t make sense.”

It was deeper than music – Helen felt like a mirror to Pharrell.

He added: “She just reminded me so much of myself. Different – marches to the beat of her own drum — but it was different [from] the rest of the girls who were completely made up. She stood out.”

He expressed: “I have to say, my wife carrying those babies — and all of them are fine and healthy. Man, I cannot say enough about women and all types of burdens that they carry, and the gifts that they carry. I just can’t! My wife is everything. I love you, baby. You’re the best.”

The couple have four children in total including three triplets. Their first child Rocket Ayer Williams arrived in 2008, and they welcomed their triplets in 2017, however, their names remain private.

Their children have attended a few Louis Vuitton fashion shows over the years.

Pharrell opened up about parenthood and shared: “I’m just enjoying my family, so it’s good. We make time. We carve out time for ourselves, but we also love it, too. We love being with the babies. It’s crazy. And all of my babies are creative—we have to protect that,” per People.
