Meghan Markle enlisted her four-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, to help announce her brand new business venture with a heartwarming photoshoot. Hours after sharing footage collecting and arranging flowers at her Montecito home, the As Ever founder teased a new collaboration with a luxury floral delivery and gifts brand.
Meghan shared an adorable close-up photo of Lilibet holding a white gardenia flower with her fiery red locks just making it into the top of the picture. The Duchess of Sussex sweetly held her young daughter’s hands in her own for the outdoors picture.
“Something is blooming. A new collaboration with @highcampgardenias arrives tomorrow,” the royal teased on the As Ever Instagram account on Tuesday afternoon. “Sign up for the launch reminder so you don’t miss it,” she encouraged the brand’s followers, sharing a link to the reminder on Wednesday 18 March at 9pm PT. The Duchess wore a flowy white dress and held a vase of gardenias obscuring her face in another picture posted to the brand’s Instagram story.
Lilibet’s adorable cameo in home video
The day before the surprise announcement, Meghan shared wholesome home video footage from her home in California, where she lives with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Lilibet. Her daughter made a rare appearance in one clip taken from a visit to their chicken coop at home. Harry and Meghan have had rescued hens in a coop on their property since 2021, which they previously revealed is called ‘Archie’s Chick Inn’ as a sweet nod to their son.
Meghan giggled behind the camera as she filmed the chickens running around the coop on a sunny California day. At the very end of the short clip, Lilibet appeared in frame with her fiery red hair out as she bent down in her gumboots to try pat one of the chickens. The footage cut off just as the young royal started to speak.
Meghan arranges flowers at home
In another video posted to her Instagram Story on Monday, Meghan showed the care that goes into her floral arrangements at home, while Harry filmed the process and offered commentary in the background.
The Duchess of Sussex had her hair slicked back beneath a black headband and wore a classic long-sleeved knit jumper as she went about arranging a vase of pink roses on a table outside. In the background, Harry said the arrangement was “beautiful”.
The royal shared another close-up photo of the pink and green-hued flowers as well as a clip of her picking purple flowers from a tree outside.
