Meghan Markle has picked up an exciting hobby since moving to the UK – and it’s helping her to “unwind”.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, is enjoying reformer Pilates classes at Soho Farmhouse in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, The Sun reports.
Meghan and Harry have reportedly been spotted at the luxurious hideaway on several occasions since their return to Britain with Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, last month.
A source told the paper that Meghan “absolutely loves” the classes at the club’s Wellness Barn, and she’s using them to “unwind” and “make new friends”.
The mother of two is said to be “chatty and polite” in the classes, while everyone “gives her space”.
Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, on-trend workout that uses a sliding exercise frame made up of pulleys and springs. It’s become increasingly popular in recent years on social media and is loved by A-list stars including Kendall Jenner and Margot Robbie.
It costs £4,500 a year to become a member of Soho Farmhouse, which is where Meghan reportedly held her hen do prior to marrying Prince Harry in 2018.
Meghan’s love for yoga and Pilates
The Duchess’s love of Pilates was passed down by her mother, Doria Ragland, who once was a Pilates instructor.
In 2016, the former Suits actress told Best Health Magazine: “Yoga is my thing. My mom is a yoga instructor, and I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when I was seven. I was very resistant as a kid, but she said, ‘Flower, you will find your practice – just give it time.’ In college, I started doing it more regularly.”
When Meghan previously lived in the UK, she was known to attend Pilates classes in London at Heartcore.

Prince Harry’s wife also reportedly met one of her best friends, Heather Dorak, at a Pilates studio called Pilates Platinum.

She continued: “Your body changes immediately…give it two classes, and you will see a difference.”
Meghan’s Cotswolds hangouts revealed
When Meghan and Harry returned to the UK in August, it was reported that they were living in a non-royal residence outside London.
It’s thought they have settled down in the Cotswolds, as they’ve since been spotted at several local hangout spots.

Meghan was photographed at the Three Horseshoes Pub while catching up with her new neighbour and former US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres, and her wife, Portia Di Rossi, last week.
The Duchess enjoyed a trip to Soho Farmhouse within hours of her arrival at Birmingham Airport, with members at the club noting she had an early morning coffee being introduced to senior staff members with “considerable fanfare”, according to the Daily Beast’s Tom Sykes.
