Meghan Markle is celebrating her daughter, Llibet. In a recent Instagram post, Markle celebrated International Women’s Day with an adorable photo of her eldest daughter, captured by “Papa Sussex,” her husband, Prince Harry.
The photo was shared yesterday and shows Markle holding on to Lilibet as the two sit on a rock while looking out at the ocean, on a sunny and beautiful day. Markle has her arm wrapped around Lilibet and is seen kissing her forehead.
Markle is seen wearing a light blue dress and a dark blue baseball cap. Lilibet is seen wearing a pink dress and showing how tall she’s grown. “For the woman she will one day be…Happy International Women’s Day,” Markle captioned the post. She added a camera emoji and the photo credits: “Papa Sussex.” International Women’s Day is a holiday that brings attention to women and their achievements, highlighting the importance of women’s rights and gender equality.
For the most part, Markle and Prince Harry have decided to shield their kids’ faces from the media and the cameras, only providing photos of the children from the side. Markle shared a post on Valentine’s Day, showing the clearest look at Lilibet’s face, showing her being carried by her dad as she held on to red balloons.
“These two + Archie = my forever Valentines,” Markle captioned the post. The image shows Markle wearing a pink dress, paired with matching tights. Harry is seen wearing black pants and a blue polo shirt.
More details about Princess Lilibet
Harry and Markle share two children: Archie, born in 2019, and Lilibet, born in 2021.
“On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family,” the proud parents wrote following Lilibet’s birth.
The pair explained Lilibet’s name, revealing that she was named after two prominent members of the royal family. “Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales,” said the couple at the time.
