Meghan Markle paid tribute to her beautiful daughter, Princess Lilibet, on Sunday, 8 March, for International Women’s Day. The former Suits star uploaded a photo of herself and her four-year-old daughter, who were staring out at the picturesque ocean view, embracing.
Photographed by Lilibet’s proud dad, Prince Harry, the image showed an intimate moment between mother and daughter. Meghan was dressed in her signature stylish yet laid-back attire of a light blue shirt, with her raven mane pulled into a simple bun, finished with a cap.
Alongside the photograph, Meghan penned: “For the woman she will one day be… Happy International Women’s Day.”
Lilibet’s princess dress
Little Lilibet looked to be wearing yet another gorgeously girly dress. The Disney-loving royal’s ensemble was subtly visible, featuring a princess-style floral top that gently flared out into a ballerina tutu skirt.
This style of clothing is a great choice for a four-year-old; it’s colourful, pretty, and totally age-appropriate. There are lots of dresses like this available on the high street if you want to emulate Lilibet’s classic look, from Monsoon to Marks & Spencer.
Lilibet the Disney fan
Prince Archie’s little sister is a known Disney fan. Last year, she celebrated her fourth birthday with a private family trip to Disneyland in California.
Meghan shared a video montage from the celebrations on Instagram, showing the Sussex family enjoying rides and meeting Disney characters.
One image showed Lilibet’s two-tier birthday cake, decorated with an Ariel theme from The Little Mermaid. In another clip, Lili and her brother Archie, six, were seen meeting Elsa from Frozen.
The video began with Lilibet pulling her dad through the park gates. Later, the footage showed the family on a log flume, as well as Lili riding Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Getting into the festive spirit, Meghan good-naturedly donned a pair of Minnie Mouse ears, as did Harry!
The family rode Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Starcruiser and Cars-themed Radiator Springs Racers. They were also seen watching a Star Wars stage show with Archie. One image showed Harry hugging Archie while Meghan held Lilibet’s hand. The children’s faces were covered by heart emojis or turned away from the camera throughout the footage.
