Mel B has hinted that a big Spice Girls reunion could be on the horizon, after Victoria Beckham shot to No.1 in the charts amid the backlash surrounding her son Brooklyn’s hard-hitting statement.

The singer, known as Scary Spice, 50, appeared to fuel the speculation after liking a video about the iconic girl group — which also includes Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell — potentially reuniting.

The video in question came from the Shouldn’t Laugh But… podcast, where host Laura Smyth floated the idea that Victoria could shift focus away from what she described as a “PR disaster” by bringing the Spice Girls back together.

Fans quickly interpreted Mel B’s interaction with the clip as a strong hint that reunion talks may finally be gaining momentum after years of speculation. In the segment, Laura directly addressed Victoria, saying:‘There is only one way on this earth you will ever come back from this PR disaster.‘Three words. Spice Girls reunion. It will eclipse it all and I want you there. I don’t want four of them. I want all five.

‘And that is the only way you’re going to get past this.’

One fan was quick to comment beneath the video: ‘And Mel B ‘liked’ this (shocked face emoji).’

The speculation comes shortly after Victoria was seen celebrating with her former bandmates over the weekend, just days after Brooklyn reportedly left her devastated with his explosive statement.

On Sunday morning, Victoria shared a photo from Emma Bunton’s 50th birthday party, which took place on Saturday night at Soho Farmhouse. Alongside the image, she wrote: ‘Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul. I love you girls so much.’ Mel B was notably absent from the group photo, which was also posted by Geri.

This followed Victoria breaking her silence on social media earlier in the week after Brooklyn’s post, as she marked Emma’s birthday on the actual day ahead of the in-person celebrations.
