The First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, issued a firm message denying any connection to reports linking her to financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In an unexpected appearance at the White House, she made her position clear to the press, rejecting the allegations outright.
“The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today.”
Melania Trump stepped forward to categorically deny any ties to Epstein. Speaking before Congress at a hearing focused on victims, the First Lady dismissed all claims connecting her to the financier, stressing that any attempt to associate them “has to end today.”
She strongly emphasized that she and President Donald Trump “were never friends with Epstein,” despite reports suggesting otherwise. According to her, any encounters that occurred simply because of social events. She said, “Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time.” These interactions, she explained, stemmed from overlapping social circles in New York and Palm Beach.

I do not object to their ignorance, but rather, I reject their mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation.”
She made her stance unequivocal, declaring, “To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice, Maxwell.”
She also denied that Epstein played any role in her relationship with Donald Trump. “Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband by chance,” she said, noting that her first encounter with Epstein was in 2000, while her relationship with Trump began in 1998.
“For that reason,” she continued, “At the time, I had never met Epstein and had no knowledge of his criminal undertakings.” She further insisted that all the information being spread regarding her connection is not true. “Numerous fake images and statements about Epstein and me have been circulating on social media for years now. Be cautious about what you believe. These images and stories are completely false.”
