Melania Trump is preparing for her documentary’s premiere. “Melania,” a film that follows her as she prepares for her return to the White House, is premiering on January 29th. According to reports, the film will have premieres in various locations, including one in DC, where Melania and her husband, Donald Trump, are expected to attend.
The film will premiere in 20 locations all over the country, including New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, reports Page Six. The outlet reports that the Trump family and administration have been sending invitations over the past weeks, with there being plans to promote the film in different countries.
The premiere in D.C. is taking place at the newly minted Donald J. Trump and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Trump-appointed ambassadors will also be hosting international screenings.
© Samuel Corum“Melania” has already been promoted on the Las Vegas Sphere, which has promoted numerous notorious pop culture events, including Timothee Chalamet’s critical and commercial hit “Marty Supreme.”
Melania appears to be very involved in the making of the film, from its marketing to the organization of its events. “She’s involved in every single piece of it. Every single TV commercial, every billboard, as a campaign across 30 different nations,” said Marc Beckman, one of the film’s producers.
He praised the documentary’s access, sharing that it shows a new side of Melania and of the White House. “Nobody’s ever had access to the First Lady like this… She brings people into never-before-seen meetings and locations; it’s unprecedented.”

Earlier this month, Donald Trump discussed “Melania.” He revealed that while he hasn’t seen the full film, he’s impressed by it. “I’ve seen pieces of it, it’s incredible,” he said to reporters on board Air Force One.
“I think it’s going to do very… You know, she did a book and the book was a big number one bestseller, and this is a movie, and it seems to be captivating a lot of people’s attention.”
According to Amazon MGM Studios, the documentary has “unprecedented access to the 20 days leading up to the 2025 presidential inauguration.” The film shows “exclusive footage of critical meetings, private conversations, and never-before-seen environments.”
The film is directed by Brett Ratner, known for his work in the “Rush Hour” films. It marks his first project in years following sexual harassment allegations from six women.
