Melania Trump’s new docuseries will offer rare access to her life as First Lady: A ‘completely different look’

Melania Trump is preparing to give viewers another look inside her life as first lady.

A new documentary series centered on Melania is officially coming to Prime Video this fall, following the release of her headline-making documentary film earlier this year.

Marc Beckman, a senior adviser to the first lady and a producer on the original film, teased what audiences can expect during an appearance on Real America’s Voice, promising that the upcoming series will offer a side of Melania that hasn’t been seen before.

“We are launching a docuseries, which is a total different experience, completely new, on Amazon Prime exclusively,” Beckman said. “That will be coming this fall. It’s confirmed, and I hope everybody tunes in, because it’s going to show a part of the first lady that hasn’t been seen yet.”

A ‘completely different look’ at Melania Trump

While the 2026 film ‘Melania’ chronicled the 20 days leading up to President Donald Trump’s second inauguration, the new series will move the story forward and take viewers inside the beginning of his second administration.

Beckman described the project as a “completely different look at her world” and said it will reveal “what happens right at the beginning” of the administration.

The series is also expected to explore Melania’s work ethic, career and philanthropic efforts while offering more behind-the-scenes access to her life as first lady.

According to Beckman, viewers shouldn’t expect the series to simply look like an extended version of the movie. He said it was “shot entirely different” and will tell a new story.

The project also marks an unusual level of access to a sitting first lady, documenting Melania’s life and work while she remains in the White House.

The new series follows Amazon MGM Studios’ major investment in the Melania project.

Amazon MGM reportedly paid approximately $40 million to acquire the documentary and related project, while another $35 million was spent on its worldwide marketing and theatrical distribution.

The movie opened in theaters on Jan. 30 before arriving on Prime Video in March. It ultimately grossed more than $16.6 million worldwide during its theatrical run.

Despite the significant gap between Amazon’s investment and the movie’s theatrical earnings, the studio touted its performance within the documentary genre.

Amazon said ‘Melania’ scored the biggest opening for a non-music or concert documentary in a decade and pointed to audience interest in both its streaming release and the forthcoming series.

The financial arrangement also attracted scrutiny after President Trump’s 2025 financial disclosure revealed a $10.71 million licensing fee connected to ‘Melania.’

Now, the first lady’s story is set to continue on screen, with the still-untitled docuseries scheduled to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in fall 2026.
