Miley Cyrus has a special gift for her dad. Billy Ray Cyrus is celebrating his 64th birthday and has received love from the most important people in his life. In the case of his daughter Miley, she has gifted him with a new song called “Secrets,” recruiting the help of none other than Fleetwood Mac.
Billy Ray shared the news on his social media, sharing a snippet of the song. In the video, he’s seen walking through green fields, flanked by animals, rocks, and trees. He’s wearing a leather jacket, jeans, and a black button-up. His hair is held up in two separate braids, and he’s rounded out the look with some sunglasses.
He appears to be listening to the song, holding his phone close, smiling, and nodding along to the music.
“For my birthday, Miley gave me the gift of music and wrote me a song called Secrets and got my favorite musicians Fleetwood Mac to play on it! I love you Mile,” he captioned the post.

Two of the band’s members, Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood, are credited in the song, likely playing some of the instruments.
Elizabeth Hurley, Billy Ray’s girlfriend, shared a sweet comment on the post. “Happy Birthday and what a beautiful video to a beautiful song by your beautiful daughter,” she wrote.

In an appearance on the Monica Lewinsky podcast, Miley opened up about her family dynamics, revealing that she, her dad, and her siblings were finally on good terms after a “dark decade.”
She discussed the song she wrote for her dad, which will be a part of a new album that she’s working on. “I wrote this song about my dad because I wanted him to tell me even though there were secrets, even though I didn’t really want to know,” she said.
“I wanted to be the one he felt safe enough to tell me the things that were damning and damaging to the family. I wanted him to think that as a middle child, I’m old enough that I could take some of that.”
