Wualys Fuentes Aquino, a rising Honduran model who recently competed in the Miss Universe Tegucigalpa 2026 pageant, was found dead inside her apartment in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Aquino was widely reported to be 23 years old and had finished as runner-up in the regional beauty pageant only weeks before her death. Her body was discovered on July 20 after concerned relatives went to her home when they had been unable to reach her for several days.
