Timothée Chalamet has gone years without messy headlines, but the last month has been brutal when it comes to the press. After going viral for his remarks about Opera and ballet, a woman is speaking out with allegations that they had a years-long romantic fling, and that she was “in love” with him before his relationship with Kylie Jenner was made public.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, IG influencer and former adult entertainer, Sarah Tena, 32, said she was involved with the Marty Supreme star for two years and was “very confused” when she first saw reports linking the actor to Jenner.
“I see these things about him dating Kylie Jenner, and I was very confused about that,” she told the outlet. “At first, I thought it was fake news, and then I was like, maybe it’s a PR thing. But now it looks like maybe they are together. I don’t know… It doesn’t add up.”
Tena claims their non-exclusive connection began in January 2020 after she watched him in Netflix’s The King and shot her shot with him on Instagram. After two attempts responding to his story, he eventually sent her a message, and they exchanged numbers and met in Santa Monica during the pandemic.
She described the first meeting as “surreal,” recalling how they bonded over movies. She said he had the scripts for A Complete Unknown, and he revealed he would be playing Bob Dylan before playing a few songs for her on the guitar as he prepared for what would later become his Oscar-nominated role.
She said he made the first move, and they stayed the night together and had a “wonderful time.”
They decided to meet again a month later when she was in Los Angeles to do work for the adult production company Vixen. She said he never judged her for her career. “We just clicked,” she said. “We were both attracted to each other. It also turned into a friendship.”
She described him as “a gentleman,” adding, “From the Timothée I know, he’s genuine. He’s funny… The friendship kept us going so long… Our personalities are similar.”
According to Tena, they saw each other every other month and grew emotionally close as he was “very invested” in her life and would even ask how her daughter was doing.
She said while he wasn’t “jealous,” it got to the point that he wouldn’t want her to see other people or hook up with someone else. “I knew there were feelings involved for both of us,” she said. In June 2022, he went to visit her in New York while he was there for a photo shoot.
“I was in love with Timothée, yeah,” she admitted. “I had finally expressed how I felt, and I let him know that I had feelings for him, and he did too. We both did.”
That night at his apartment, she told him she wanted to see him more and for things to be more consistent, and even gifted him an evil eye bracelet that matched the one she wore. The trip would end up being the last time they hung out. “Then everything changed [with the] Kylie Jenner thing,” she said.
