This September marks two decades since Morgan Fairchild graced our screens in the hit soap opera Fashion House – and the legendary American actress appears not to have aged a day since.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Friday, Morgan shared a memorable clip originally posted by a fan, featuring a dramatic and physical confrontation between her character, Sophia, and her rival, Maria, inside a hospital room.

Running for 65 episodes between September and December 2006, Fashion House centres on ruthless fashion mogul Maria Gianni (played by Bo Derek) as she fiercely fights to protect her empire from a hostile corporate takeover and from her formidable long-standing rival, Sophia Blakeley (Fairchild).

Morgan, now 76, often treats her social media followers to selfies and highlights from her podcast, 2 Btches from Texas – and the Dallas-born star continues to look every bit as radiant as she did when the show first premiered in 2006.

Commenting on a recent Instagram post, one of Morgan’s followers praised her glamorous appearance, writing: “You look amazing!”

A second fan penned, “Looking beautiful as always.”

Morgan, who shot to fame playing Jennifer Pace in the 1970s soap opera Search for Tomorrow, proved she still knows how to work a red carpet back in June at the Lead with Love: Going the Distance fundraising telethon. The actress looked effortlessly chic in a black patterned blouse paired with platform shoes, styling her signature blonde locks in a voluminous blowout.

Morgan Fairchild’s career

Morgan, whose birth name is Patsy Ann McClenny, began her career working as Faye Dunaway’s body double on the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde.

Her first major television role came in 1973, when she was cast as Jennifer Pace in the daytime soap Search for Tomorrow. The actress went on to play the original Jenna Wade on Dallas before earning a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Constance Weldon Semple Carlyle in Flamingo Road.
