In the latest twist of the Beckham family drama, Alana Hadid, sister of supermodels Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid, has entered the fray, targeting her brother’s former girlfriend Nicola Peltz Beckham.
The 40-year-old model weighed in on Instagram on January 22, commenting on the ongoing media storm with a pointed message: “Right and that girl doesn’t want privacy she’s been trying to be famous for a decade.”
Alana’s swipe didn’t stop there. She also criticized Brooklyn Beckham’s lengthy statement addressing his estrangement from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. “Ending an eight paragraph rant about his family’s dirty laundry with ‘all we want is privacy’ is all I need to know,” she wrote.
Nicola’s history with the Hadid family adds an extra layer of intrigue. She dated Alana’s younger brother, Anwar Hadid, from 2016 to 2018, when she was 22, and he was 17.
The relationship reportedly ended amid tension with Anwar’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, though the specifics were never publicly confirmed. Four years later, Nicola married Brooklyn Beckham in 2022, and the couple has since faced whispers of estrangement from his family.

Posting a statement on Instagram Stories, he alleged that his parents “have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.” He added, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

He claimed that his parents, David, 50, and Victoria, 51, have long “controlled narratives in the press” and prioritized the “Brand Beckham” over family relationships. He described a childhood marked by “performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships” and argued that his wife, Nicola, 31, has been unfairly targeted.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of the innocent people, to preserve their own facade,” he wrote.

“For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want [is] peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”

The couple renewed their vows in August 2025, with Brooklyn explaining that they wanted “to create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
