Nicola Peltz has addressed her family’s dynamic with her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, in a new interview. Speaking to ELLE Spain, the Prima actress, 31, responded to a question about how well her parents, billionaire Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz, welcomed David and Victoria’s son into the fold when they got together seven years ago.
“Like another son,” she said. “He gets along really well with my brothers. They play soccer together a lot.”
Brooklyn cuts off his parents
Nicola and Brooklyn have been navigating a period of intense scrutiny after months of speculation around a supposed feud between Brooklyn and his parents, which culminated in the eldest Beckham child sharing a scathing statement about them on social media.
Posting to his Instagram Stories on 19 January 2026, Brooklyn, 27, claimed that “for my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family” and that “the performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
He went on to also claim that David and Victoria had tried “endlessly to ruin my relationship [with Nicola] since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped” and that “my mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.”
Former England footballer and Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria is yet to address Brooklyn’s statement publicly. In Nicola’s recent interview, she was asked about how she has navigated the intense spotlight hitting her and Brooklyn amid the ongoing family feud.
Nicola addresses public scrutiny
“I’m very focused on this film,” she said, referencing Prima, an upcoming indie film which she has written and will play the lead role in. “And Brooklyn is completely immersed in his Cloud 23 project, a line of gourmet sauces… But when we’re together at home in the evening, we’re fine.”
She went on to open up about what their alone time looks like: “Being at home with him and my dogs is my idea of paradise. We put on Gilmore Girls or Sex and the City in the background, and we have our perfect night.”
Nicola is the first to admit that Brooklyn is “better” at handling fame than she is. Though that isn’t to say he enjoys it necessarily, with his wife saying that he “manages it”, adding: “I need to take notes on how he handles it.”
The couple met in 2019 at the Coachella music festival in California. They tied the knot in 2022 at the Peltz family’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida, and live together in Los Angeles.
