Nicola Peltz has seemingly taken aim at her estranged mother-in-law Victoria Beckham in a social media post that has now gone viral.
Brooklyn Beckham’s wife, 31, showed off her flexibility by doing the splits on her Instagram account, displaying her impressive skills honed from playing a ballerina in her upcoming film Prima.
But fans couldn’t help noticing how similar the photo was to Victoria’s iconic leg pose and wondered whether Nicola was deliberately trying to one-up the Spice Girls star with her amazing moves.
Victoria, 51, is known for her hilarious social media posts, cocking her leg up at a 90-degree angle while doing normal tasks like scrolling on her phone.
The pose, which she debuted in early 2016, is now so synonymous with Posh Spice that celebrities, including Kourtney Kardashian, have recreated it for social media likes.

While it’s unclear whether Nicola’s social media post was purely accidental, fans were left speculating about whether it was intentional. “She’s morphing into her mother-in-law,” one commented on X.
Brand Beckham rift
Brooklyn shocked the world in January when he released a bombshell statement, insisting he never wishes to reconcile with his parents, David and Victoria, and lambasting the “performative social media posts” and “inauthentic relationships” that are a fixture of the life he was born into.
His claims went from bad to worse when he alleged his fashion designer mother had hijacked his first dance with Nicola at his wedding and had cancelled making his bride’s dress at “the eleventh hour”.

Over the past few years, Brooklyn’s visits to the Beckhams’ primary residence in Holland Park, north London, had become increasingly infrequent amid reports of a rift between Victoria and his wife Nicola.
“From the minute Nicola came into the family, she hasn’t shown what Victoria would say is respect towards them,” an insider previously told HELLO!.

Nicola recently offered an insight into the fractured family dynamics in an interview with ELLE Spain, responding to a question about how well her parents, billionaire Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz, welcomed Brooklyn into their family seven years ago.
“Like another son,” she said. “He gets along really well with my brothers. They play soccer together a lot.”
