The Cyrus family is healing. After making dramatic headlines with a family feud from all angles for the last couple of years, there seems to be some peace. On Monday, after five years, Noah Cyrus reunited with her mom, Tish Cyrus, for their first joint red carpet appearance at the Reminders of Him premiere in Los Angeles.
The mother-daughter duo coordinated in all black, posing arm-in-arm at the Hollywood Legion Theater, smiling as if there was never a rumored love triangle. Noah wrote the original track, “Light Over the Hill,” for the film’s soundtrack, so it looks like Tish was her plus 1.
Noah leaned all the way into dark romance for the night. She wore a body-hugging black gown torn at the neckline and straps, creating a dramatic, deconstructed plunge. The silhouette was sleek, and the ruched detailing down the sides added shape, while a black feather wrap draped over her arms brought that old-school gothic glamour energy.
Tish wore an off-the-shoulder black knit that framed her collarbones, paired with tailored black trousers,

The appearance marks a visible shift after a year of very public speculation involving Tish’s husband, Dominic Purcell. In 2024, reports claimed that Purcell had briefly “hooked up” with Noah before eventually marrying Tish in 2023.
Sources at the time alleged that Tish knew he had previously been seeing Noah, but that the situation wasn’t fully addressed before the wedding. Noah notably skipped her mom’s Malibu ceremony.
Neither Noah nor Tish publicly confirmed the specifics of those reports, and they are a part of the broader Cyrus family shakeups that seemed to begin with Tish’s split from Billy Ray Cyrus after nearly 30 years of marriage and his subsequent relationship with singer Firerose.
The 26-year-old began clearing up the air last August, while promoting her album I Want My Loved Ones to Go. She addressed the speculation directly, saying, “Everybody’s great and loves each other.” She acknowledged that being in a famous family means rumors can spiral, but added, “At the end of the day, this is a family, and that’s really it: just going through normal family stuff.”
She’s also been clear about how she protects her peace. “I keep myself quite separated from any interest or ‘drama’ with the family,” she said at the time. “The one thing that’s connected us with the entire world is music, and that’s what’s the most important to us.”
Earlier this year, Noah and Tish also revived their podcast Sorry We’re Cyrus, diving into everything from weddings to personal growth. During one episode, Noah admitted she still leans heavily on her mom. “We still need our mommy so bad,” she joked. “How many times a week do you answer the phone, and I’m crying? A lot.”
She’s also spoken warmly about her fiancé, Pinkus, whom she got engaged to in June 2023, sharing that he and Tish are close. “It’s really cute because my fiancé and my mom are really close,” Noah said. “I love that so much.”
They aren’t the only ones that healed. After a long-reported feud between Miley and Billy Ray, they made up last year, with Miley confirming that their drama was in the past, even writing a song for his birthday.
And the day after Noah and Tish’s red carpet moment, the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special teaser dropped. In the promo video, Miley and Billy Ray were doing one of their nostalgic hip bumps.
