North West’s parents, Kim Kardashian and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, may have a combined net worth of over 2 billion dollars, but she still wants to work. And she wants to do it when she is legally allowed to in California.

The teenager has big dreams of working at Starbucks next year

The 13-year-old is already stepping into music, performing at festivals and working on her own projects, but in a new interview with Dazed, North said: “I still wanna work.”

“I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year,” she said. Unfortunately for North, there are probably more than 1 reason why that won’t happen.

While the legal age to work in California is 14, you need to be 16 years old to work at Starbucks. Also, being the daughter of two of the most famous people on the planet probably wouldn’t be great for security and safety concerns, or crowds of people trying to get clips of her for social media.

Her statement is a glimpse into the mind of a young teenager who may not realize how famous she is, or the power that she holds in public.

While she may not be welcome at the Starbucks counter, she’s proven to be old enough for the stage.  Earlier this summer, North made her first solo festival performance at Summer Smash, something she admitted she wishes she had done sooner. “Yeah, I wish I’d done it earlier, though,” she told the outlet. “I’ve been ready.”

And she’s been putting in the work rehearsing. “I used not to rehearse,” she explained. “I used to want to go out there and just see what happens. But I like dance rehearsing.”

Her idea of a perfect day is basically the same thing. “I don’t like to rest a lot. I like to get stuff done,” she explained. “So maybe just going to rehearsal, and then going to the studio,” she said. “That’s a perfect day. Or having a big show would be the most ideal day.”

Kim has always supported North’s music career

When Dazed asked about the worst advice she has received, she didn’t hesitate. “To start my career later,” she said. “It’s like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life.”

North West was spotted leaving Nobu Malibu after dinner with a friend, wearing a black graphic T-shirt, a pleated mini skirt, studded boots, oversized futuristic sunglasses, and layered jewelry. She styled her vibrant blue hair and appeared to display dermal piercings on her thighs, along with bandages on her forearm and wrist and scars on her fingers.***North West fue vista saliendo del restaurante Nobu Malibu tras cenar con un amigo, luciendo una camiseta negra con estampado gráfico, una minifalda plisada, botas con tachuelas, gafas de sol futuristas extragrandes y joyas superpuestas. North recently performed at Rolling Loud

North also joined Molly Santana during her Rolling Loud set, which she said came with a great message that young female artists don’t have to be pitted against each other. “It’s cool to show that females can connect through their music – because it’s always beef and stuff, and it’s never like that [with me],” she said. “I never wanna have beef with any girl.”

Her interview comes after news that she was cancelling her tour.
