Pamela Anderson was a goddess in a bold yellow gown as she walked the red carpet ahead of the screening of her latest film, Place to Be, which co-stars Ellen Burstyn and Taika Waititi.

The 59-year-old looked incredible in the off-the-shoulder gown from Carolina Herrera’s 2019 collection, with the dress featuring balloon sleeves and a dramatic train.

She paired the look with a dazzling diamond necklace and wore her blonde locks in a chic updo with artfully escaping curls.

Pamela continued her trend of going fresh-faced to red carpet events, with just a brush of mascara and eyeliner and a dab of nude lipstick to take it to the next level.

The Baywatch star is taking over the Venice Film Festival with her latest looks, all while maintaining her makeup-free visage.

She decided to start going bare-faced to industry events in 2023, and has inspired many to embrace their natural beauty, fine lines and wrinkles.

“I really feel powerful right now when everything’s very pared down. I like to see my freckles,” she told WWD. “I like just a really fresh face. I don’t like those injections, and that doesn’t work on me. I want to see what’s going to happen.”

She continued: “And I feel like now I can put on a beautiful silk blouse and some trousers, and always a heel, and just with nothing on my face, and just let my hair dry after I get out of the shower and sleep on it. That’s my favorite. That’s my look. And I feel like that is a power statement because I’m accepting myself a lot more these days, and it feels great.”

Pamela’s heartbreaking admission

Pamela got candid about how far she had come in the last two decades, after she was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in the late ’90s. The infection causes inflammation and damage to the liver, and spreads when blood containing the virus enters another’s bloodstream.

At the amfAR Gala in Venice, the mother of two explained that being diagnosed with the infection was “a death sentence” that changed the course of her life. “I’m sure that colored and corrupted my decisions. It was not fear of death, but fear of what might happen to my young children. It turned my life inside out,” she said in a speech at the event.

“And just like the sexual abuse that I endured as a child, it felt like it was carved into my forehead: damaged goods. And I presented myself as such.” Pamela explained that she was eventually able to receive the cure for Hepatitis C and announced in 2015 that she was free of the infection.

“I was lucky, I was offered it in its early stages, and it took everything I had in my bank to pay for it [because] it wasn’t covered by insurance yet, and I felt tremendous guilt that others weren’t granted the same access,” she recalled in her speech.

“I am grateful to say now that I am Hep C free, but my experience of shame and guilt was also an unconscious journey. It stays with me. It haunts me.”

“I’m not a victim. I’m a victor. I am strong and capable, more now than I could ever dream of…I’m not the damsel in distress, no matter how easy that role is to play,” she concluded.
