Paris Jackson is back in her music era. The daughter of Michael Jackson was inspired this Valentine’s Day and shared a new song she said was inspired by the love of her life. On Tuesday, the artist shared a stunning video on Instagram performing the song with a guitar in hand, showing off her voice and musical abilities.

Paris wore a gorgeous long-sleeved lace white dress in the ethereal video, with her blonde waves flowing freely. “Dreams of all the things we’d be but to a common goal is so deadly,” she wrote in the caption.

The 27-year-old first shared the song on Valentine’s Day, explaining, “I wrote this about being strung out back in the day with the love of my life.” “Zombies in love — happy v day,” she wrote. Fans loved it, with one of the top comments reading, “Her voice is heavenly!”

Paris didn’t reveal who the song was about, but she was engaged to Justin Long in 2024 and was in full-on wedding planning mode before they split in August 2025. They had been together since 2022.

Michael welcomed three children, Prince, Paris, and Bigi (formerly Blanket), and Paris is the one most in the spotlight, following in her father’s footsteps.

She has opened up about her relationship with music and how positive the reception has been. “I usually try not to read comments because people can be mean. But … it’s all so positive, and people are so kind. And it seems people actually can hear the honesty of it, and how I really am singing from my soul and my heart and from my very being,” she said in 2020, per Good Morning America, following the release of her song “Wilted.”

“I didn’t accept being a musician…as my destiny until about two years ago,” she continued. “So it’s still pretty fresh. I’m a rookie. I’m an amateur, but I have a passion for it, and I love it…music is the air I breathe.”

She told Elle in 2021 how it’s helped her express herself, saying, “I’m at a point in my life where it’s the first time I’ve ever truly experienced self-love,” she said. “A big part of it is definitely the self-expression. I’m accepting that this music thing, being a musician, is what I was born to do.”

And as the daughter of one of the most famous singers in the world, she explained, “he’ll always influence everything I do in some way, whether it’s subconscious or intentional. I was around that creativity all the time, so I’m sure I learnt a lot of what I have from that.”
