Pauly D and the Jersey Shore boys were once the definition of players, but the DJ is officially off the market. The 46-year-old proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Nikki Hall, and Vinny Guadagnino is taking it about as well as you’d expect.
The public declaration of love happened during his DJ set at OMNIA Dayclub in Las Vegas on Sunday, September 27. In the video, he brought Hall into the middle of the crowd and cheered her on, and they danced with smoke machines filling the air.
Hall was getting ready to leave when Pauly D got down on one knee and popped the question. As if the moment needed any more Jersey Shore energy, DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win” was playing before the music transitioned into Bruno Mars’ “Marry You.”
Hall was clearly surprised and broke down in tears of happiness as she nodded yes. They then shared a sweet hug and danced. “She said yes,” Pauly said into the crowd on the microphone.
© GettyThe couple later shared photos from the proposal, with Nikki showing off her new diamond ring and opening up about why the timing felt right for them. “We’ve spent these years choosing each other, growing together, building a life we love, and never rushing a chapter just because the world was ready to read it,” she wrote. “No pressure. No timeline. Just ours — and God’s” she wrote.
She added, “& as always, His timing was perfect. The easiest YES I’ve ever said.”
While the newly engaged couple was celebrating, Pauly’s best friend had a hilarious reaction.
Vinny Guadagnino has entered the chat

The Jersey Shore star took to Instagram, posting an AI video of the couple inside a home celebrating and himself sad outside in the rain to the song “Dancing on My Own.” “I’m not ok,” he captioned the clip.
He followed the joke with, “Congratulations @djpaulyd and @nikkisaintclaire.” Fans were in on the joke, with some trying to make him feel better. “He proposed to her at a club; he’d propose to you on a private vacation with an elaborate setup. Keep your head up, king,” reads one of the top-liked comments.
Who is Nikki Hall?
Nikki is a Jamaican-born reality star who first met Pauly when she joined him and Vinny on Double Shot at Love in 2019. The dating series featured women competing for a relationship with the two Jersey Shore stars, and Nikki quickly developed a connection with Pauly.
© NBCHe didn’t choose her at the end of the first season, but the story wasn’t over. The pair reconnected when Nikki returned for Season 2, and they eventually began dating in 2020.
They also quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period Pauly previously credited with bringing them closer.

She has also stepped up when it comes to Pauly D’s daughter. The DJ has previously spoken about Nikki’s relationship with his daughter, Amabella, whom he shares with ex-wife Amanda Markert.
