Close friends Penélope Cruz and Johnny Depp took a break from the project their shooting to stop by a museum. The pair, who’ve made various films together and have been friends for years, stopped by the Reina Sofia Museum, sharing photos standing in front of their favorite artworks.
The images were shared by the Museum and show the pair standing in front of “La Guernica,” one of Pablo Picasso’s most famous paintings. The photos show Cruz and Depp huddled together, with one of them being a selfie, and another a photo taken by another person.
Depp is seen wearing a hat, some sunglasses, a black suit jacket, and a cream colored handkerchief. Cruz wore a black shirt, jeans, and a Chanel belt.
The photos were shared by the museum. “Thanks for joining us @johnnydepp and @penelopecruzoficial, until next time!” reads the caption.

Cruz and Depp are currently working on their fourth film together, “Day Drinker,” which is being shot in Madrid. The film is produced by Lionsgate and marks Depp’s first major studio-backed project since 2018, when he starred in “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.”
The film follows a bartender working on a cruise ship and a frequent day drinker, with the two finding themselves entangled in a criminal mystery. The film is directed by Marc Webb, and co-stars Madelyn Cline, and young and exciting Spanish actors like Manu Ríos and Aron Piper.
