Perez Hilton was recently hospitalized. The notorious media personality shared a disturbing TikTok that prompted 911 calls from his concerned viewers. The news was confirmed by Miami-Dade Police, who revealed that deputies were dispatched to his home. He was later transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Hilton, born Mario Armando Lavandeira, is of Cuban heritage. He is a single dad of three kids, a process he’s discussed in previous instances. “All kids are mine genetically,” he wrote in a Huffington Post essay published in 2017. “Each was born thanks to the generosity of a different surrogate, using eggs from the same anonymous donor.”
“While I don’t rule out adoption in the future, for me it was important to have kids with my DNA. My dad passed away when I was 15 and having my children is a way of him living on through them ― literally,” he continued.

© Getty Images for NetflixHilton shared the news of the birth of his son on his website. “I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy — with lots of hair on his tiny head,” he wrote in February 2013.
He shares frequent updates on his kids on his social media. On February of this year, he celebrated his son’s 13th birthday with a sweet post. “13 years ago today my life got so much fuller – and better! I celebrate you today and every day, my son!! I’m so lucky!” he wrote.
Mia Alma Lavandeira
© FilmMagicMia Alma was born two years later, in 2015. He shared the news through social media. “It is with great pride and relief that I can finally announce: I am a dad again!” he wrote.
In a video shared in May of this year, Hilton recorded a video taken on Mia’s birthday, showing him singing her the happy birthday song as they cuddled and she laughed.
“My birthday girl! 11!!! I celebrate her today and every day! She’s radiant and kind, gentle and strong-willed! I named her Mia Alma and she definitely lived up to that! As mentioned before, Hilton is a single parent and doesn’t have a romantic partner. He lives with his mother, who helps him with his kids, with the family relocating full-time to Florida this June.
