Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi‘s relationship with Princess Beatrice has been put under the microscope in recent days as the couple privately navigate the fallout of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor‘s arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office on 19 February 2026.
Edoardo has spent time in Florida recently with work, but friends of the couple debunked rumours of “distance” between them, telling HELLO! on Monday: “The only thing Bea and Edo are navigating is their busy jobs and looking after their children! They’ve both had recent stints working abroad and, like so many working parents, have been balancing work with looking after the kids.
“Recent reports that things aren’t good between them are not true at all. Things are great between them, and the only distance between them recently has been physical distance because of work!”
They were seen looking content in each other’s company on Friday night as they enjoyed a quiet meal at Eel Sushi Bar in Notting Hill.
Edoardo’s call for calm
It came after property developer Edoardo offered an insight into how he likes a home to feel in an unearthed comment from 2025. Posting on the Instagram account of Banda Ltd, the interior design and property development firm he founded in 2007, Edoardo wrote: “We strive to create spaces that express calm and offer a serene respite, especially working within some of the world’s most hectic cities and capitals.
“We believe a home should be a sanctuary, meticulously curated to balance beauty and functionality. Our philosophy centres on crafting environments that inspire tranquillity while also embracing the vibrancy of their surrounding context.”
Edoardo and Beatrice’s home life
Though referring to his business projects, a sense of calm is top of Edoardo’s agenda when it comes to creating a space for someone to come back to each day.
As for Edoardo’s personal home, he lives in a £3 million farmhouse in the Cotswolds with his wife and their two daughters, Sienna, four, and one-year-old Athena. It is also where Edoardo spends quality time with his nine-year-old son, Wolfie, whom he shares with his ex, Dara Huang.
Having previously lived in Beatrice’s apartment at St James’s Palace (which the princess has retained for when they visit London) upon their marriage in 2020, the couple purchased their countryside pad in 2021 to gain greater privacy. It is said to feature a swimming pool, tennis court, and sprawling gardens.
