The Monégasque royal family was out on Tuesday to celebrate Monaco’s National Day. Prince Albert, Princess Charlene and their twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, as well as Albert’s sisters, Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie and their respective kids, came together at the Prince’s Palace.
Charlene looked elegant in a lilac pantsuit teamed with a matching fascinator and black pumps on Nov. 19. Like her mom, Gabriella was also dressed in a pastel colored outfit. The young Princess wore a flared sky blue coat, headband, white tights and flats, while her twin brother Jacques was dressed in a uniform.
To mark Monaco’s National Day, the Princely Palace released two new portraits of the twins that showed off their close sibling bond. The duo were pictured on Tuesday sweetly holding hands in one adorable image. The second portrait showed doting brother Jacques with one arm wrapped around his sister as they posed on stairs. Alongside the photos on Instagram, the palace wrote (translated to English): “Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella wish you a happy National Day. 🇲🇨.”
Charlene and Albert’s twins will celebrate their tenth birthday on Dec. 10. In an interview with Gala magazine that was published earlier this month, the royal mom of two shared insights into her son and daughter’s personalities. “Gabriella is very curious. She is very intrigued by the world and life in general. She asks lots of questions and demands a lot of attention,” Charlene revealed (translated to English). “As for Jacques, he is curious and observant. More reserved, he is naturally very calm.”
While Charlene admitted that it’s “difficult to find time to spend one-on-one time” with her children, she noted that it’s “essential when you are the parents of twins.” The Princess added, “The conversations I have with Jacques and those with Gabriella are so different, as well as the time spent with them.”
