Princess Eugenie and her sister, Princess Beatrice, have mostly kept a low profile amid the news over the last few weeks that has exacerbated public scrutiny of the family, as their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and mother, Sarah Ferguson, are increasingly connected to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Carrying on with her job as usual, as much as possible, Princess Eugenie has been pictured at the Art Basel 2026 in Doha, Qatar, which she is attending in her capacity as director at Hauser and Wirth, the contemporary art gallery on Savile Row.
As identified by royal fashion blogger @royalfashionpolice on Instagram, she opted for a mostly high-street look, including an asymmetric top and a high-rise pleated midi skirt both from Reiss. Her top featured a white trim along the shoulder line down the sides, while her skirt was black for the most part, and featured two broken-up white stripes along the hem.
To accessorise, she brought out a small black shoulder bag from Mark Cross and a pair of plain white sneakers from Loci. As always, she rounded off her outfit with her signature toadstool earrings from Sophie Elis, in solid gold with diamonds.
As she always does when on outings as part of her job in the art world, she kept things mostly low-key, and has not shared any images on her own social media, likely making even more of an effort than usual to stay out of the spotlight.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s eviction
On the night of Monday, 2 February, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was finally evicted from his home in Windsor, Royal Lodge, and on Tuesday, three Land Rover Defenders were loaded onto the back of a trailer and taken away from the main Sandringham House in Norfolk as Andrew moved to Wood Farm.
Wood Farm will serve as his temporary home while Marsh Farm, his new permanent home, undergoes a series of renovations. It is understood that these measures are currently being taken to increase the security on the property.
Andrew’s move comes just months after he was officially stripped of his royal titles due to his connections with Jeffrey Epstein, about which more information has come out in the new year.
In the most recently released photograph from the files linked to Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced royal was seen leaning over a woman who was lying on the floor. The images have no caption but appear to show the former duke touching the woman’s abdomen. It is not known where or when they were taken.
The photos were some of more than three million documents published by the US Department of Justice relating to Epstein, including photos and email exchanges that appear to feature the former duke and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
