Priscilla Presley has been keeping a low profile lately, but she made an exception on Thursday when she stepped out for a rare public appearance.
The 81-year-old attended the 14th Remus Lifestyle Night, hosted by luxury real estate entrepreneur Marcel Remus, in Mallorca, Spain, and was a vision in an all-red outfit.
Priscilla looked incredibly youthful in a bright red, floor-length dress with long sleeves and a matching crossbody handbag.
Her dark red hair was parted down the middle and curved softly at the ends. She added bright red lipstick, black eyeliner, and a soft pink blush to finish off her striking look.
Priscilla’s last major public appearance was in March at the Elvis Memphis Museum in Randers, Denmark, dedicated to her late husband, Elvis Presley.
Priscilla and Elvis’ relationship
The former couple was married for six years after tying the knot in Las Vegas in 1967. They split in 1972, and their divorce was finalized the following year.
On January 8, Priscilla honored her late ex-husband with a touching tribute on what would have been his 91st birthday.
Sharing a photo of the pair kissing, she wrote on Instagram: “It’s hard to believe you would be 91 today — surely just as handsome as ever.
“No one could ever truly understand the depth of what we shared. Our love never faded, even through difficult times.”
She concluded: “Each year, I celebrate your birthday quietly in my heart, knowing you are surrounded by the family you loved so deeply. Happy Birthday, Elvis, P.”
Elvis was found unresponsive in his famed Graceland estate on August 16, 1977, and the immediate cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest, as a result of cardiac arrhythmia combined with his drug use and unhealthy eating habits.
Lisa Marie’s untimely death
During their marriage, the couple welcomed their daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, in 1968. Lisa Marie died aged 54 on January 12, 2023, due to a small bowel obstruction that developed years after undergoing bariatric surgery.
A few days after honoring her ex, Priscilla marked the third anniversary of their daughter’s death, sharing a photo of herself and a young Lisa Marie.
“It has been three years since I last heard your voice, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss you,” she began.
“The depth of what we shared is something only a mother and daughter could ever truly understand. Our lives were complicated in ways few could grasp, shaped by love, pain and the weight of a name the world claimed as its own.”
She continued: “Through everything, our bond was ours alone – imperfect, deep and unbreakable. I miss you more than words can say, my little Lisa Marie.”
Priscilla signed off with: “Love always, Mom.” While comments on the post were turned off, Lisa Marie’s eldest daughter, Riley Keough, liked the post in a show of support for her grandmother.
In addition to Priscilla and Riley, the Presley legacy lives on via Lisa Marie’s two children, twin daughters Harper and Finley, 17, whom she shared with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
She was also a mom to son Benjamin, shared with Riley’s dad Danny Keough, though he died by suicide aged 27 in July 2020.
