Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt proved the Pussycat Dolls’ signature glamour is firmly intact as they stepped out in New York City’s Financial District on Friday.
The trio, who have reunited for the first time in more than 15 years, looked effortlessly stylish as they enjoyed a day out in the city while continuing to promote their upcoming PCD Forever tour. The massive comeback will see the group perform across the UK, Europe and North America, alongside the release of new music.
Frontwoman Nicole, 47, stole the spotlight in a striking burgundy strapless leather dress that showcased her enviable figure. She completed the bold look with nude pointed heels, adding height and elegance as she posed confidently alongside her bandmates.
Ashley, 44, opted for a chic tailored ensemble, wearing a cream-and-brown plunging blazer paired with coordinating culottes. The professional dancer elevated the look with cream pointed stilettos and styled her blonde hair in a sleek side part.
© GC ImagesMeanwhile, Kimberly, also 44, delivered a sultry fashion moment in a brown satin blazer dress with a daring plunging neckline. She highlighted her long legs with sheer black tights and classic pointed court heels.
The trio’s new tour, PCD Forever, will see them play 53 shows across the UK, US and Europe, starting in California in June. They will also perform their new single, ‘Club Song’, which was released on 12 March.
© GC ImagesLanding in the UK on 29 September, the trio will play their first English show in Birmingham, followed by dates in Nottingham, Leeds, Glasgow and other cities, before ending at The O2 in London on 13 October.
However, despite the band’s comeback, three members were left out of the new era’s lineup, and some of them expressed their feelings on social media.
Carmit Bachar, 51, Jessica Sutta, 43, and Melody Thornton, 41, will not be returning for the next wave of the band’s identity.
© Getty ImagesOn her Instagram account, which boasts over 140 thousand followers, Carmit reshared a host of posts claiming fans would not attend the reunion shows if she were not part of the lineup. She also reshared a tagged post that mentioned her fellow band member, Jessica, who was also supposedly left out of the reunion.
Jessica also appeared to be upset by the news as she shared a series of quotes to her own Instagram Story that referenced “disappointing people.” She also reposted a tribute to her that said: “To my favourite Doll. I stand with you.”
© Getty ImagesMelody, who was also absent from the new trio, has remained silent about the reunion so far on her social channels. She was not part of the 2019 reunion despite remaining close friends with Nicole.
This will be the second time a variation of the Pussycat Dolls has reunited for a tour. The band, initially formed in 2003, broke up in 2010 and got back together briefly nine years later, minus Melody.
