Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is not taking time off work. While many royals are enjoying their Easter vacations, getting a head start to relax and spend time with their loved ones, Máxima is taking the opposite approach.
The Dutch queen has opted to stay on duty, with a full agenda that includes official engagements all through the week. On Tuesday, she attended an event in The Hague celebrating the 70th anniversary of Oxfam Novib while inaugurating its new headquarters. She then had another engagement in Zoetermeer.
As of now, Queen Máxima’s calendar remains busy with additional appearances scheduled in the coming days.

The design, by Natan, features a round neckline, three-quarter sleeves, and a softly flared A-line skirt that falls below the knee. A belt cinches the waist, giving the look structure while maintaining its understated elegance. The clean silhouette makes the dress an ideal canvas for bolder styling choices, something that Maxima loves and knows how to turn to her advantage.

At the time, she paired it with a striking accessory: a borsalino-style hat designed by Fabienne Delvigne. She repeated the pairing for this outing, with the hat adding a playful twist to the otherwise monochromatic look, and becoming a standout for the more traditional fashion style that’s typically associated with the dress.
An expert in eye-catching accessories
Máxima completed the look with other accessories, including oversized wooden earrings, which have become some of the most distinctive items in her jewelry collection, and some snakeskin heels, adding some texture and edge. The final touch was a suede clutch, subtly toning down the intensity of the lok while adding a classic finish.
Through her years as a royal, Máxima has made it her mission to incorporate statement pieces that break up the tonal outfit, making her standout in the world of royal fashion.
When it comes to this outfit, the result is a masterclass in styling; a simple dress elevated with accessories that highlight Máxima’s personality. She may not be on vacation, but the Queen is having a lot of fun.
