On this day, we remember all the lives that were lost and the heroes who helped as many as they could on September 11, 2001.
September 11, 2001, is a day no one in America will ever forget. Terrorist attacks resulted in the complete destruction of the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers more than two decades ago. Thousands of lives were lost, and to this day, we remember them and the first responders who answered the call to help as many as they could.
The site known as Ground Zero was replenished with a memorial in Lower Manhattan to honor those who died. Today stands the newly built One World Trade Center not too far downtown.
Today, we’re remembering the victims and first responders from 9/11, and we’ll never forget.
