Ricky Martin’s epic Super Bowl halftime moment has millions of his fans proud, and the internet is still talking about it. Among those who showed him support were his twin sons, Tino and Matteo. After spending time in Santa Clara, the boys have now returned to their routine at home.
Proving the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, Tino, who seems like the more extroverted of the two, took to social media to share his newest dance moves with the world. Bursting with energy and moving to “International Love,” by Pitbull and Chris Brown, Tino recorded himself showing off sharp, confident steps.
It’s a dance that could easily have been rehearsed, or one that simply flowed naturally as the rhythm took over. “El Movimiento Extrañaba a Ustedes,” he wrote, playfully referencing how the phrase would sound if translated literally from English to Spanish.
His moves quickly prompted fans to tap the “like” button, with several followers commenting that they had missed seeing him dance, noting that he hadn’t posted anything like it on social media in recent weeks.
That same energy and talent for dance caused a stir back in October, when Tino decided to join his father onstage during one of the Puerto Rican singer’s concerts in Santiago, Chile. There, the 17-year-old proved he’s an expert dancer, showing that—thanks in part to what he’s learned from his father—rhythm truly runs through his veins.
Tino’s proud moment at the Super Bowl
As the world waited in anticipation to see what would happen during the Super Bowl LX halftime show, where Bad Bunny made history with a cultural love letter to Puerto Rico and the rest of America, Martin’s sons were there, beaming with pride.
Ricky’s appearance came as a surprise to everyone. The Puerto Rican star appeared onstage at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, to perform part of Bad Bunny’s “Lo Que Le Pasó A Hawáii.”
After Ricky’s performance, his older sons, Tino and Matteo, were waiting just below the stage to congratulate him and show how proud they were of this milestone in his musical career.
Tino, who is more active on social media, shared several photos from the show on his Instagram Stories, accompanied by heart and lightning bolt emojis, an unmistakable, euphoric expression of just how happy he was for his father. As the 17-year-old twins continue to grow up, time will tell what avenue they decide to pursue.
