New York became the epicenter of fashion’s biggest stars yesterday due to the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards. Among the favorites of the evening were Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who — as usual — stole the spotlight with their effortlessly coordinated and original looks.
The rapper, who was recently spotted filming a mysterious Chanel campaign alongside Margaret Qualley, has solidified his status as one of today’s biggest fashion icons. This year, he received the Fashion Icon Award, an honor previously bestowed on Rihanna in 2014.
For the occasion, Rihanna made her first public appearance since welcoming her third child, Rocki Irish Mayers, in September, stepping out to support her partner and reaffirm their reputation as one of the most stylish celebrity couples of the decade. To celebrate their debut as new parents, the pair made footwear the center stage in both of their looks.

Her hair was styled in an elegant updo with a dramatic side-swept fringe, while her makeup remained soft and radiant in neutral tones, allowing the bold architecture of her outfit to take the spotlight.

Rihanna and Rocky welcomed their third daughter on September 113th of this year, with the family making the announcement in a social media post sharing her name and a sweet photo of Rihanna holding on to her daughter, who’s seen wearing an adorable pink outfit. She joins her siblings, RZA Athelston, born in 2022, and Riot Rose, born in 2023.
