Ronan Keating’s ex-wife Yvonne Connolly, 52, has married the “love of [her] life” more than a decade after her divorce from the singer. Yvonne tied the knot with her long-term partner, John Conroy, over the weekend in a gorgeous New York wedding attended by her and Ronan’s three grown-up children, one of whom played a major role in making the special day happen.
The bride stunned in an white off-the-shoulder gown from luxury designer Róisín Linnane with her blonde tresses styled out in glamorous waves as she posed for family pictures with her and her new husband’s big blended family, including her kids: Jack, 27, Missy, 25, and Ali, 20.
“I married the love of my life today in New York City enveloped by our 9 children. Tears of joy and happiness have been shed and our true love celebrated,” Yvonne gushed on social media on Sunday, later sharing a group photo alongside all of hers and John’s children.
“14 years together and I love you more and more everyday John Conroy,” she shared a sweet declaration of love to her husband.
“You are the most beautiful, kind, funny, intelligent, talented man and I am blessed to now call you my husband. Here’s to Forever my Darling.” Yvonne’s youngest daughter Ali gushed in the comments that she had “so much love” for her mother and stepfather.
Yvonne has been in a relationship with cinematographer John since around 2012, following her initial separation from Ronan in 2010, followed by their permanent split in 2012 after 14 years of marriage. Her divorce from the singer was finalised in March 2015. Ronan went on to marry Australian television producer Storm Keating in 2015, and has welcomed two children with her.
Her daughter’s special wedding role
Yvonne singled out her daughter Missy for “organising the perfect wedding”, revealing her seamless behind-the-scenes role on the big day.
“The day went with out a hitch besides grid lock traffic due to a march,” she wrote.
Getting to Central Park proved quite the task, however. “We had to get out of the car and run to the subway to make the ceremony in Central Park. It couldn’t have been more NY!!” Yvonne said, including a selfie of her on the subway in her wedding dress at the end of her carousel post.
“I felt a million dollars, bursting with happiness!” the bride said of her gorgeous look for the day.
More to come.
