The Princess of Wales was supported by her family at this year’s “Together at Christmas” carol service. The royal’s mom Carole Middleton and dad Michael Middleton, along with her siblings, James Middleton and Pippa Middleton, were among the attendees at Westminster Abbey on Friday, Dec. 6. While King Charles and Queen Camilla were not in attendance, a number of British royal family members, including Princess Beatrice, stepped out for the festive occasion.
The Princess’ 2024 Christmas carol service shined a light on individuals who have shown love, kindness and empathy towards others in their communities. The palace previously said that the holiday event would provide “a moment to reflect upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives.”
The service, hosted by the Princess, came nearly three months after Her Royal Highness announced that she had completed her chemotherapy treatment. In a personal message, accompanied by a video that featured her husband, kids and parents, Catherine said, “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.”
