Sarah Ferguson may be about to pull off one of the “most incredible” comebacks yet, a royal expert has claimed.
The last few months have been challenging for Sarah. The former Duchess of York made headlines earlier this year when letters revealing the true extent of her relationship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein were made public.
Sarah left the country as public criticism intensified following the release of the damaging documents. Money troubles followed her when she left for Austria to stay with ex-boyfriend Paddy McNelly, with many attributing her financial distress to poor spending habits and a series of failed business ventures.
But it’s a predicament royal author Phil Dampier is confident she will emerge from.
Sarah’s future ventures
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said he believes she may well try to tell “her side of the story” and seek reconciliation with the King for “the sake of her daughters”.
She has an “extraordinary” ability to bounce back, he said, adding that she may be about to “pull off her most incredible yet”. He suggested she may even have plans to “launch a new business” or reinvent herself, possibly as a “media personality”. He believes she will return to the UK soon.
Sarah’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein
In February, a series of documents revealed Sarah had remained in contact with Jeffrey Epstein while he was in prison for soliciting sex from a minor.
The emails, which began with Sarah asking Jeffrey to help get her business, Mothers Army, off the ground, indicated the two had remained close, despite the flurry of allegations made against him.
Other documents appeared to show Sarah describing the convicted paedophile as a “supreme friend” and the “brother I never had”.
The revelation led nearly all of Sarah’s charities to drop her, and her own, Sarah’s Trust, to close for the foreseeable future. According to Phil, against the odds of the scandal that “ruined her”, Sarah could be close to a comeback.
Following the news, the former Duchess of York went off grid for several months, being tracked down at a luxury spa in Austria, where she appeared to have been living with her ex-boyfriend Paddy McNally, who recently died. Phill said Sarah may well be back in the UK soon, with reports recently suggesting she had been house hunting in Windsor.
