Second Lady Usha Vance was spotted wearing familiar jewelry while in India with her family. Vice President JD Vance‘s wife recycled the Deepa Gurnani earrings that she wore in January to the inauguration ceremony at the U.S. Capitol.

The Liora Earrings, which retail for $80, are handmade and feature glass beads. Deepa Gurnani’s creations are described as being “deeply rooted in Indian heritage.”

When Usha wore the flower earrings with her pink Oscar de la Renta coat dress on Inauguration Day, the brand wrote on Instagram: “The blooming flowers are made of micro and medium pearls symbolizing peace, prosperity and growth. The earrings are light weight and are perfect for every occasion.”

The second lady of the United States re-wore the earrings on April 23 with a striped dress—ID’d by the Remoulade Sauce X account—from Saloni, a brand partly inspired by founder Saloni Lodha‘s childhood in India, for her family’s visit to the Taj Mahal. JD, Usha and their three kids, Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel, posed for photos on the famous bench.

“Today I visited the Taj Mahal with Usha and the kids,” the vice president captioned pictures from the visit. “It’s a beautiful historic site, and I’m grateful for the warm welcome we received there!”

Alongside a snapshot of Vivek squinting and Mirabel with a hand on her face, JD joked on X, “With three little kids staring into the sun, this was actually the *best* photo we got at the Taj Mahal today.”

Usha, who grew up in San Diego, California, is the daughter of immigrants from India. The mom of three made history at the 60th Presidential Inauguration, becoming the first Indian American Second Lady.

Following her and JD’s trip to India, the second lady wrote on Instagram that it “was a great joy to visit” the country with her family and “experience this part of our heritage through their eyes.”

She added, “Thank you for the warm welcome, and looking forward to our next trip to this vibrant country!”

Prior to traveling to India, the Vance family visited Italy. On Easter Sunday, the day before Pope Francis died, the vice president met with the 266th pontiff at the Vatican, where he was presented with gifts for himself, Usha and their three kids.

The vice president’s office announced in mid-April that JD would be traveling to Italy and India, and would be discussing shared economic and geopolitical priorities with leaders in both countries.
