Selena Gomez is keeping her fans updated on her life with a sweet post featuring a little bit of everything. Shared earlier this week, Gomez posted some photos showing her having friends, eating delicious foods, alongside her husband Benny Blanco, and supporting one of her best friends, Taylor Swift.
The photo was shared in a post captioned “randoms.” The final image shows her arm, stacked with friendship bracelets, a trend that became very popular during Swift’s incredibly successful Eras Tour, where fans wore their bracelets, traded them, and showcased them throughout the shows.
Travis Kelce memorably had his own friendship bracelet prepared and wanted to give one to Swift before meeting her at one of her shows.
In 2023, Gomez supported Swift in various shows, including two that took place in Texas and Los Angeles, taking her little sister Gracie, who’s 12 years old. Her photo shows over 14 bracelets, with them reading words and names like “Selena,” “Meredith,” “SG,” and more.

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have one of the industry’s most prominent friendships. The two have been friends for decades, a relationship that started due to their prominent fame when they were teens. The two met due to their connection to the Jonas Brothers, with Swift dating Joe, and Gomez dating Nick. Funnily enough, their bond came out of heartbreak.
“We actually dated the Jonas Brothers together! It was hysterical,” said Gomez in 2017. “It was amazing, because [Taylor] was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked.”

In 2022, Gomez revealed that she’d always had trouble maintaining friendships with celebrities. “I never fit in with a cool group of girls who were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor, so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong,” she said in an interview with Rolling Stone. “I felt the presence of everyone around me living full lives. I had this position, and I was really happy, but … was I? Do these materialistic things make me happy? I just didn’t like who I was, because I didn’t know who I was.”
In recent months, Swift attended Gomez and Blanco’s wedding. Gomez will likely attend Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce, with the two announcing their engagement last summer.
