To mark the passage of three decades, Selena’s family has publicly honored her memory, sharing, “Selena’s light continues to shine through her timeless music, her infectious spirit, and the love she gave to her fans… We honor her today, tomorrow, and always.” Their message came shortly after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles denied Yolanda’s request for release — a decision supported by Selena’s loved ones, including her husband, Chris Pérez, who continues to speak about how deeply he still feels her presence.
