Snoop Dogg is standing by his daughter, Cori Broadus, as she mourns the heartbreaking loss of her 10-month-old daughter, Codi Dreaux.
The 54-year-old rapper acknowledged his granddaughter’s passing in an Instagram post on Saturday, Jan. 31, shortly after Cori shared the devastating news publicly.
Snoop posted a photo of himself with Cori, 26, and his sons, Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28, and added a simple but emotional caption: “💖🙏🏾.”
Cordell also expressed his support for his sister by reposting the family photo on his Instagram Stories, writing, “Lil sis, we got you forever.”
Earlier that day, Cori revealed that her baby girl had passed away through her own Instagram Stories.
“Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi 🪽,” she wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of herself holding her daughter.
Cori first announced she was expecting a baby girl in December 2024. Two months later, in February 2025, she shared that Codi had arrived prematurely at six months.
At the time, Cori reflected on her emotional journey in a heartfelt post.
“I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed…,” she wrote. “Thank You God for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me 🙏.”
She later explained that she underwent a C-section after doctors warned she was developing HELLP syndrome, a serious pregnancy complication involving hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets.
Following her early birth, Codi spent 10 months in the neonatal intensive care unit before finally coming home in early January.
On Jan. 6, Cori celebrated the milestone with a touching Instagram post.
“She’s home. 🤍,” she wrote, sharing a photo of herself cuddling her daughter on her bed.
She added, “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all. 🕊️✨.”
After the news of Codi’s passing became public, Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared his grief.
On Saturday, Jan. 31, he posted a message on his Instagram Stories alongside a photo of himself holding his daughter.
“I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you,” he wrote.
