Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement is official, and now one of Swift’s most famous exes, Taylor Lautner, has chimed in. The “Twilight” star, 33, reshared the NFL’s official Instagram post celebrating the couple’s big news, which featured a romantic shot of Swift and Kelce’s engagement photo alongside a victorious moment after the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2024 Super Bowl win.
Lautner’s repost quoted Swift’s words to Kelce after the championship game: “I cannot believe this is really happening.” Kelce, 35, had replied at the time with a simple but heartfelt, “Same.”
The couple reportedly got engaged two weeks ago in a secret proposal, later confirming their news with a rose garden photoshoot that has already gone viral. Swift, 34, and Kelce have been together for two years, with their relationship blossoming publicly during the Chiefs’ march to Super Bowl glory.
Swift and Lautner’s Whirlwind Romance
Of course, Lautner and Swift’s history goes back to 2009, when they met on the set of “Valentine’s Day.” Their on-screen kiss quickly turned into an off-screen romance, one Swift once described as “life-changing.” Lautner openly admitted at the time that she was “his type,” and fans couldn’t get enough of the young Hollywood couple.
