Euphoria’s third season is finally upon us, and it’s only taken four years!
The HBO drama will finally return to the airwaves on April 12, 2026, a large gap from the release of season two back in 2022, and taking its central characters away from their high school setting.
The Sam Levinson show has received equal amounts of adoration and criticism, although has remained a firm viewer favorite for the entirety of its run, one of HBO’s most watched shows of all time.
Ahead of the third (and final?) season’s arrival this weekend, we’re looking back at the show’s stars and how they’ve changed in the years since…
Zendaya aka Rue Bennett
Since Euphoria’s premiere, Zendaya has become one of the world’s most bankable actresses and “it girls.” She has two Primetime Emmys for her work in Euphoria, and has since continued appearing in the Spider-Man franchise, the Dune franchise, Challengers (2024), and The Drama (2026), all of which have been either critical or commercial successes.
She has been in a relationship with her Spider-Man co-lead Tom Holland since 2021, with the pair getting engaged in December 2024. New reports (including one from her longtime stylist Law Roach) suggest they’ve quietly tied the knot as well.

Sydney Sweeney has become a box office staple in recent years, especially with the successes of her films Anyone But You (2023) and The Housemaid (2025). She has also received acclaim for her performances in the first season of The White Lotus, and the films Reality (2023), Immaculate (2024), and Christy (2025).
In 2022, Sydney announced her engagement to her frequent producing partner Jonathan Davino, although they separated in early 2025. She is now reportedly dating talent manager and music exec Scooter Braun.

Maude Apatow continued her success with Euphoria through more TV work in shows like Hollywood and Pantheon, turning to film with projects like The King of Staten Island (2020), One of Them Days and Oh. What. Fun. (both 2025). She made her directorial debut the same year with Poetic License, featuring her mother Leslie Mann.
She made her stage debut in an off Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors, then appearing on the West End in a revival of Cabaret. Maude has been dating fellow actor Patrick Gibson since 2024.

The same year Euphoria premiered, Alexa Demie starred in the acclaimed psychological drama Waves, following that up with 2020’s Mainstream. She made appearances in the 2021 short Nineteen on Fire, an episode of the 2023 series The Idol (also from Sam Levinson), the show Fantasmas, and the upcoming Fables.
She released her debut single “Leopard Limo (Archive LL11)” in 2021, and has also appeared in campaigns for brands like Calvin Klein and Balenciaga.

While Jacob Elordi keeps his personal life out of the public eye, his profile in front of the camera has grown considerably. Since Euphoria, his most notable TV work was the 2025 miniseries The Narrow Road to the Deep North, which earned him his very first Golden Globe nomination.
After wrapping up the Kissing Booth franchise in 2021, he earned a BAFTA nomination for 2023’s Saltburn, also receiving praise for playing Elvis Presley in Priscilla that same year. He earned further recognition for 2025’s Frankenstein, winning a Critics Choice Award for his performance and receiving nominations for a Golden Globe, SAG, BAFTA and Academy Award.

Colman Domingo has become one of Hollywood’s most well-respected actors since Euphoria premiered, experiencing a surge in high-profile roles that include Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (2020), Zola (2021), and The Color Purple (2023), and will appear in more highly-anticipated projects like Michael, Disclosure Day (both 2026), and the Nat King Cole biopic Unforgettable.
