Kate Middleton posed for a photographer just as she is. Unseen until now, a photo captured the Princess of Wales far from tiaras, historic jewels, and grand halls. It shows her on a “sunny walk,” dressed in casual clothes and wearing a slight smile during a trip to the Scottish island of Mull, where she went with Prince William to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary.
The new photo is the work of Josh Shinner, who has been behind the camera several times to capture moments of the Prince and Princess of Wales’s family. On April 23, Shinner released his latest work to commemorate Prince Louis’s seventh birthday, featuring the young royal displaying a toothy grin.
Shinner is also the one who shared the new photo of Kate, posting it with the caption: “Excellent company for a sunny walk and backdrops… Thank you, @princeandprincessofwales.”
In the first update about her health, after it became known she was ill, she appeared in a photo leaning against a tree. She also chose an outdoor setting to celebrate Mother’s Day, sharing several moments in nature.
“Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary. This Mother’s Day, we celebrate Mother Nature and reflect on how our connection to the natural world can help nurture our inner selves and remind us of the part we play in the rich story of life.”
