Tim McGraw is preparing to go on the road in a few months time with his Pawn Shop Guitar Tour – and he’s getting fans seriously excited!
The country music star took to Instagram to share a collection of childhood photos of himself and his band members, along with a description of them – a trend currently circulating on social media.
Tim chose a picture of him as a young boy standing in front of the Christmas tree at home, arms folded, smiling straight into the camera. He wore a Pittsburgh Steelers T-shirt and sported a mullet haircut.
The caption alongside his photo read: “This is who has the crowd locked in”.
The picture resembled all three of Tim’s grown-up daughters, in particular his youngest, Audrey McGraw, 24.
“I see Audrey in the first picture of you when you were little,” one fan wrote, while another remarked: “I can see Audrey!” A third added: “I see your daughters in these pictures.”
Three talented daughters
Tim shares Audrey, along with older daughters Gracie, 28, and Maggie, 27, with his wife Faith Hill. The celebrity couple raised their family in Nashville, Tennessee, and it’s safe to say all their children have inherited their parents’ singing abilities.
Gracie is a rising Broadway star, while Audrey went on tour with Brandi Carlile in 2025. Maggie is also a great singer, and appeared on stage with her sisters during Tim’s performance at the Music City Rodeo in Nashville last year.
The trio all became emotional after singing “Last Dollar (Fly Away)” after noticing a projection on screen of themselves as little girls singing on the studio version of the track with their dad.
“They’re not as young as they used to be. They’re all grown up now,” Tim told the crowd as he introduced them, before walking over to hug them.
Tim’s private life
Tim and Faith still live in the very house they raised their family in, and occasionally their daughters share photos of it on social media.
While Faith has largely stepped away from the spotlight, Tim still posts on social media and interacts with his fans. The couple have been married since October 1996, tying the knot the same year they began dating.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Tim shared the surprising way he proposed to his wife. Speaking to Jimmy, Tim recalled: “I asked Faith, this is right before we went on stage, I said, ‘I want you to be my wife’. She goes, ‘Well, you’ve asked me that several times’, and I go, ‘This time I’m serious’. She goes, ‘You’re asking me to marry you at a country music festival in a trailer park?’ and I go, ‘Yes ma’am I am. You’re from Mississippi, I’m from Louisiana – it seems pretty appropriate.'”
He added: “When I came back off stage she had written in lipstick, ‘Yes, I’m gonna be your wife’ – and I still have that mirror.”
After their wedding, the couple went on to welcome their three daughters – Gracie, born in 1997, Maggie, born in 1998, and Audrey, born in 2001.
