Tom Brady and Logan Paul are getting ready for a football showdown. The notorious figures in American media are clashing over an upcoming game of flag football, with the exchange going viral on social media.
In a tweet shared by Brady, he and Paul are seen talking about an upcoming flag football game that will be hosted in Saudi Arabia. “I’m actually a little worried for you,” said Brady in the clip, which was recorded as a part of Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast.
“You’re a good athlete, but these guys are on another level.”
“No, no, no, no. I am the level,” interrupted Paul.
“You’re not the level. You’re a good athlete. When I’m thinking of Saquon Barkley,” said Brady, adding other names of football players that will be participating in the match.
Still, Paul didn’t back down. “Can Saquon Barkley flip off the top rope?” he said, referencing his WWE experience.
“It’s cute,” said Brady. “I love WWE, it’s very cute, but honestly. This is real football, real competition.”
Paul listed some of his credits, including his experience playing high school football.
“Well, let’s see if you can still bring it,” said Brady. “I mean, we all had a great past. I won seven Super Bowls. Who gives a s**t? You know what matters? This game, March 21st in Saudi Arabia. I’m glad you’re gonna be there, and I’m glad you’re gonna participate in like, a competition that matters.”
Brady reshared the clip and added some commentary, showing how demanding he is with the people involved in the match. “I hope people understand the level of competition this game is going to be. If you’re on my team you’re going to be locked in, all out, and we’re going to not just win… but dominate,” he wrote.
“I do think @loganpaul has the right attitude, and the effort will be there. How far that gets him will remain to be seen.”
