Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding is going to be one of the biggest in pop culture history. While the couple is keeping everything under wraps, the NFL star did share a major detail about what guests can expect: beer.
TMZ met up with the tight end outside his “New Heights” podcast’s Super Bowl party when they asked how many kegs of his brand, Garage Beer, would be at the reception. His response was hilarious: “Man, I can’t even count that high.”
It makes sense why they’re going to need a lot of beer, because it sounds like it’s going to be huge. Swift already said that everyone in her “bubble” is getting an invite. “I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful wedding is when you have a small amount [of space for guests],” she told Graham Norton, “You have to assess your relationship to see if they’re going to be there.”
Kelce shared another clue about the wedding in September on his podcast while chatting with Jimmy Fallon. The host asked if Kelce and Swift had started planning. “Are you gonna do DJ or band? Are you thinking about all this stuff?” Fallon asked.
Kelce confirmed they’re already talking details. “Yeah, I think we’re live music kind of people, you know?” he said.
According to The Sun, due to heightened security concerns, they have an $8 million budget just on protection. Other details have been kept hush-hush. But that hasn’t stopped people from piecing clues together. Here’s what people think they know about the wedding.
Where will it be?
Swift’s $17.5 million oceanfront home in Watch Hill is one of the places that has been thrown around as an option. A source previously told Page Six that the couple was planning to get married there this summer. There are also reports of a multimillion-dollar renovation underway at her Watch Hill property, per The Knot.
But on The Graham Norton Show, Swifty described plans for a large “destination” wedding. Italy has been speculated given there Lake Como vacation and Swift’s lyrical nods to Portofino on The Life of a Showgirl.
When is it?
Swifties quickly latched onto rumors surrounding a June 13, 2026. It’s a summer Saturday, safely outside NFL season, and centered around Swift’s famously lucky number.
As we saw with her friend Selena Gomez’s wedding, celebrities will keep secrets and give fake clues to keep the public from knowing all the details to try to stop fans, paparazzi, or general mayhem from ruining their big day. We will just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
