If sources are correct, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will be married by the end of the summer, and his bachelor party is just weeks away.
A Page Six insider told the outlet the NFL player will be celebrating with friends at the end of May in the Bahamas in a big villa. It’ll center around playing golf with his inner circle, like brother Jason Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs teammate, Patrick Mahomes. After they spend time on the green, they’ll have dinner at home. The insider said, “It’ll be chill,” adding, “Just guys having a good time.”
Fresh off a loved-up appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 26, riveting details have come to light about their wedding. According to Us Weekly, they’ve chosen June 13, her favorite number, as the special date. The date also works with Travis’ NFL schedule. The couple plans to fit in both the wedding and honeymoon before training camp kicks off in late July. Here’s everything else you need to know.
Where’s it going to be?
The Us Weekly insider said they’ve chosen Rhode Island, and are splitting events between Swift’s seaside mansion and the nearby Ocean House, keeping things private and guarded. “The guest list grew, so the ceremony and private gatherings associated with the wedding [will be split between the venues],” a source said, but they noted things could change, “Taylor always has a plan B and C for every scenario.”
Who is going?
The guest list is tight but stacked. Around 150 people made the cut, including Swift’s inner circle, like Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, and Zoë Kravitz, plus Kelce’s crew, like Mahomes and Miles Teller.
“They’ve gone back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small,” another source noted – but for now, they’ve scaled it down.
Taylor-coded details
The wedding will have all the traditional details: her dad walking her down the aisle, meaningful father-daughter and mother-son dances. There will also be beer – a lot of it.
As for the dress, she has reportedly said yes to a gown that’s currently in final fittings. The designer has not been revealed, but she has a history with designers like Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, and Versace.
She’s also skipping formal bridesmaids, opting instead to get ready with her closest friends. There’s even talk of a sleepover the night before in Rhode Island with her inner circle, including Gomez and Hadid.
Their families are supportive but not overbearing, with Swift’s mom, Andrea, playing a more hands-on role behind the scenes.
This seems to track with what Donna Kelce recently said. When pressed by TMZ this week about wedding details, she joked, “Is the groom’s mother ever involved?” When the Traitors star was pressed for more details, she replied, “I’m just happy. Just so happy for them.”
While the couple hasn’t confirmed anything themselves, they’ve made it very clear they are happier than ever. When Swift accepted the Pop Album for The Life of a Showgirl, Swift gushed about her soon-to-be husband, “[The Life of a Showgirl] probably feels very happy, confident, and free, because that’s the way I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé,” she said.
As she spoke, Kelce mouthed “I love you” from the crow
