Victoria Beckham dressed to the nines for a romantic date night in Italy with David Beckham. The 52-year-old fashion designer looked as loved-up as ever with her long-time significant other as they posed for a photo overlooking the coastline in Portofino – and Victoria had just the daring dress for the occasion.
The star pulled out all the stops in a striking little black dress with a sheer twist. Victoria’s floor-length evening look featured a plunging neckline and bodysuit with a see-through lace skirt from below the waistline, showcasing her tanned and toned legs beneath.
Vibrant flower motifs were embroidered across the skirt for a colourful finishing touch that was the perfect summer detail. Victoria let her dress take centre stage, slicking back her hair in a low ponytail and keeping her makeup natural for the night. She kept her accessories minimal, opting for a pair of complementary black open-toe heels and a tassel purse and understated jewellery.
“Back in Portofino where we began [heart emoji] in 1997 x I love you,” Victoria captioned two snaps with David. In a second photo, the long-time couple, who first holidayed in the same Italian hotel nearly three decades earlier, matched in earthy brown outfits as Victoria leaned over to give David a peck on the cheek.
David shared a behind-the-scenes video of Victoria’s look from their romantic date night, writing: “29 years ago we came to Portofino to this hotel before anyone knew we were dating and here we are back again.”
The Beckhams‘ sun-soaked summer
The Beckham have been soaking up the sun across Europe this summer. Their youngest son Cruz shared a collection of photos from the family’s summer adventures, including one which showed his little sister Harper, 14, spending time with the family in the background. The 21-year-old included a throwback childhood photo of him with his two brothers amid his eldest brother Brooklyn’s ongoing feud with the Beckham brood.
Earlier this month, Victoria and David narrowly missed a run-in with their estranged son Brooklyn while holidaying in the South of France. The Beckhams were in France for their annual holiday on their private yacht, while Brooklyn paid a visit to his godfather Elton John’s villa in Nice.

“I aim to do it within five minutes, which means I apply the concealer and blend with my fingers. I fill in my brows and use FeatherFix Liquid Brow Gel to keep them in place. Then I apply a Satin Kajal liner and lashings of our Vast Lash mascara. For lips, I usually use Lip Definer in 02, and finish with Posh Balm for a barely-there tinted sheen,” she told us.
Victoria also shared the lifestyle habits that have the most impact on her complexion. “I do think the habits you’ve heard a million times work, like drink lots of water every day! I use my LED machine most nights and have really noticed a difference in my skin, but I have to ensure I am consistent using it.”
