Viewers can’t get enough of Prime Video’s latest crime thriller, Scarpetta, which brings Patricia Cornwell’s bestselling forensic thriller novels to life on screen for the first time.

The series stars Nicole Kidman as Dr. Kay Scarpetta, who returns to her position as Chief Medical Examiner of Virginia, where she began her career decades before. But when a brutal murder case bears a striking resemblance to the career-defining investigation she worked on almost 30 years earlier, Kay questions whether she got the wrong man the first time around.
